The National World War II Museum’s Educator Advisory Council is a professional learning community of educators who help influence curriculum and educational initiatives offered by the Museum.

EAC members have the opportunity to:

· Review/pilot/write curriculum

· Assist with student programs (reading for writing contest, reviewing History Day projects, etc.)

· Review/pilot/participate in programs such as virtual field trips and webinars

· Advocate on behalf of the Museum through educational interactions, social media, etc.

· And much more

Additionally, local EAC members will be able to:

· Volunteer for professional development sessions and other programs

· Judge Louisiana History Day

· Review/beta-test field trip-related activities 

· And much more

Members will receive yearly gifts in appreciation of their time and advice.

Applications are open to educators who teach Kindergarten to college-level students from all school types and locations. If you are interested, please apply by Friday, March 27th.

The NPS World War II Heritage Cities program recognizes the historic importance of the United States’ involvement in World War II. The Secretary of the Interior may designate up to one city (jurisdiction) from each state and territory as an American World War II Heritage City. Grantees must be within a designated NPS American World War II Heritage City in order to receive funding under this grant.
